During his service in the HM armed forces, Nick developed a keen eye for perfection and attention to detail. After leaving in 2011, he underwent extensive training to become qualified carpenter, paving his way into the construction industry. While working in carpentry, he was approached by a certified VELUX installer and became their lead installer, gaining valuable experience and completing high-end projects. In early 2025, Nick felt inspired to embark on a new journey, leading to the creation of Skylight Express, influenced by the famous London production Starlight Express.
